Palmistry (translated from Greek "prophecy", "predictions by hand") is an analysis of personality and prediction of future events, based on a careful analysis of the lines on the hand of a person.
In parallel, there is also chirology (translated from Greek "the science of the hand") - a science that also deals with the study of human hands. Chirology studies the correspondence of a certain position of lines, the shape of the fingers, etc. certain events in life, personality traits, level of physical and mental health, predisposition to certain diseases.
Experience has shown that there are many misconceptions about the possibilities of palmistry. What is palmistry: myth or reality? We will try to determine this.
Palmistry is one of the methods of fortune telling (magic), and guessing is sinful. Palmistry and chirology have nothing to do with fortune-telling or magic. It should be borne in mind that fortune-telling implies a request for information from the subtle world through the use of a crystal ball, cards, etc. A palmist (or chirologist) only considers and interprets a certain arrangement of lines on a person's hand - a physiological map of life, given to everyone from birth and as a result of actions and deeds undergoing certain changes. In addition, one should recall the statement from the Bible that the Lord himself put "a seal on everyone's hand" so that "his deeds could be seen."
The future cannot be changed, therefore you do not need to know it. It may be so, but it should be remembered that the chirologist can only make a forecast for the future, but whether this forecast will come true is entirely up to you. For example, if you can see from the lines of your hand that your health is especially vulnerable at one time or another, why not take care of yourself at the indicated time?
All this is nonsense, because everyone knows that the lines are the result of active physical work. What does fate, health, etc. have to do with it? Misconception. The main lines on the palm are formed during the period of intrauterine development, therefore, they do not depend on physical labor.
On the lines of the hand, events can be determined with an accuracy of 1-2 days. Also, the palmist is able to accurately describe future events. This is not entirely true. The lines of the hand can give information about the dynamics of the whole life, specific events can be determined with an accuracy of 1-2 years (but not days!) And help determine what kind of event it will be. However, only clairvoyants who use completely different methods of obtaining information about the future can see future events.
By hand, you can determine exactly the duration of life and the cause of future death. No professional palmist will provide you with such information. He will only indicate which moments in a person's life are the most critical, give information about the reason for these critical dates and try to help you develop a strategy of behavior in order to avoid a possible tragedy. Programming a person to be negative, a real specialist will never program a person to be negative. In addition, it should be borne in mind that the lines on the hand are constantly changing, we are improving, and, accordingly, our actions affect future events (for example, a fatal incident can "degenerate" into an ordinary nuisance that we will not even pay attention to). Therefore, most often predictions draw the future only in general terms.
Along the lines on a person's hand, you can tell everything about his relatives, friends, employees, etc. Palmistry does not give complete information about the person's environment, although some assumptions can be made.
For analysis, the chirologist only needs to show one hand - after all, the lines on the left and right palms are identical. In fact, upon closer inspection, you will find that the lines on the right and left palms differ significantly. To determine the level of personality development dynamics and other equally important factors, the chirologist will have to study both of your palms.
An interrupted life line speaks of imminent death. This is not true. The mentioned form of the life line only indicates that the development of events at the moment is difficult to predict.
The birthplace of palmistry is Europe. According to some scholars, the art of hand reading originated in Greece, while others consider ancient India or ancient Egypt to be the "cradle" of palmistry. Mentions of some signs on the palm, signaling a particular disease, can be found in Avicenna's "Canons of Medical Sciences". This art came to Europe thanks to the gypsies, who masterfully master the skills of palmistry.
The lines on the palm appear under the influence of some otherworldly forces. From the point of view of modern anatomy, the hand is the end point of nerve endings extending from the brain. Because every millisecond (thousandth of a second) the brain sends a huge amount of nerve impulses to the muscles of the arm, they are in constant motion. These micromovements are inaccessible to the simple eye, but they, according to scientists, are the reason for the appearance of lines and dashes on the palms. We can say that the lines of the hand are an indirect reflection of the feelings, needs, desires and subconscious aspirations of a person. The same kind of connection exists between the brain and the feet of a person, and therefore podomancy ("fortune telling by the foot"), which is intensively used by the Chinese, also studies the correspondence of the lines on the sole of a person and his character traits, certain events in life, etc.
